Saying “Yes” To God

Jesus calms the storm

“Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God, Thy Spirit is good, lead me into the Land of uprightness.” (Psalm 143:10)

Have you come to a fork in the road of your life? Do you feel God’s call to serve? Do you recognize His voice and know it is Him? Simply wait on Him and say, “Yes.”

Don’t ponder over the what~ifs or whys, don’t question your abilities. Don’t worry about timing or the future. Test the call to be sure it is of God. When you know its Him, simply tell Him “Yes.”

When the mighty winds blow and the storms come, He will miraculously place them at your back. When the floods begin to rage, He may tell you to keep paddling in faith, believing, while He calms the seas.

God’s calling is sure. You can count on Him. We don’t have to worry about making a way. If it is His will, He works all things out in His own perfect way and timing.

He calls us through, around, over, and under to serve. No foe can stop us, no poverty can starve us, no evil can diminish His call. He has a glorious plan!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Mee, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
