Hope

Hope

You are my hope, O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth   (Psalm 71:5)

Yesterday my heart was so burdened for our younger generation.  I am thinking about and praying for the many single and young couples who are trying to make a living,  raise children and keep up with the living expenses…About the kids who will be graduating and looking for jobs…What will they do for employment when even their parents have lost their jobs or their hours have been cut way back?

As a bleiever in my Father God and my Lord Jesus Christ, I am to love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my mind and with all my strength. And love my neighbor as myself (Matthew 22:37-39).  I am a living epistle, read and known by all men (2 Corinthaians 3:2-3). By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:35).

Do they see Jesus in me, in my actions/ reactions? Am I sharing my hope (Jesus) with them?

Only the Lord God is the Giver of Life. Only He is able to nourish the soul. Only He is able to lift the weariness, to implant faith, to refresh and renew the worn and tired spirit. Only God can give light to the mind and guidance for the earthly pathway.

HOPE~Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)

HOPE~Helping Other People Excel

Do not cease to mention the next generation in your prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of their understanding being enlightened, that they may know what is the hope of His calling…and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward them that believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at the right hand in the heavenly places.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit  (Romans 15:13)
